Ha ha. I have a longer response but unfortunately not the time currently to respond. I laugh not because I find your thoughts you've wrote ridiculous, but your phrasing brought that out.

I haven't read any other comments other than yours to me, and frankly I applaud you for staying with it. I do believe some of the things are stereotypes, but some of it speaks with anger that the thinking can be distinctly male. But you did mention the difference in the way the sexes communicate so I'll definitely give you that.

Truthfully in many ways I fear guns, and I fear the irresponsibility around them from others as well as the machismo that many reflect in their words. Of course my experience is my own and doesn't speak of yours, but I will challenge anything that speaks of the experience in general. Anytime we start with "All women drivers" or "All black people" or as you mentioned in your first reply to me "So many men" it sets off a tone that makes one want to ignore what is said. But I stayed with it. And yet I have to be careful I don't do it myself.

I'll take a look at some of the other comments. But it's amazing the self-restraint I practice on this site on not just this subject, but a wide range of them.
